Richard & Ricki had a quick stop in Johannesburg en route to Lagos – Nigeria for the Moments with Mo interview. They attended a performance of the Lion King at the Teatro Monte Casino on the Saturday evening before flying off to Lagos early Sunday morning. He was inundated with requests for photographs and autographs both at Monte Casino and at OR Tambo airport and also whilst he & Ricki went on a quick shopping spree to Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton on Saturday afternoon !!!
Even in the queue at OR Tambo airport whilst waiting to get on the plane to Lagos, Nigerian fans were going crazy to see Richard again.On Sunday when Richard arrived in Lagos he made an appearance at the Palms Shopping Centre where he was again bombarded by fans. He was really his funny and friendly self and one could tell he was so happy to see everyone. Ricki was also very patient with all the fans and was full of smiles. A lot of people wanted pictures with her too and she seemed shy but still agreed. They later went to check out the movie theatre and looked at music systems.
Richard got a chance to meet Mr. Nigeria at Reeds Thai restaurant in Lagos. He was sighted there Sunday night with his wife, Mo Abudu and other people working for the Moments show. They stayed until around midnight. It was quite evident that they were having a really good time. Richard looked great and he was dressed really well but the paint was still in his hair. He posed for pictures with several fans.
Richard met 2Face’s mom (shown below) at the Moments with Mo Studio after he did his taping on Monday. The studio is in City Mall and they went on to watch football and cheered for the Nigerian team.

I just read what Richard had to say on his website. I am happy for him because it is a reality that he loves his wife and that they are happy together, which is nice, but not even acknowledging Tatiana who kept him sane in the house!!! Now I know he was just playing her to become the winner.

The Big Brother Experience
I have been asked many times how I got involved in Big Brother in the first place. I first heard about Big Brother Africa 2 when my wife brought my attention to the TV commercial asking for suitable applicants for the show.
I applied and to my surprise I was short listed. After a bunch of interviews and psychological tests I found out I was chosen as the Tanzanian housemate. I was so excited but I had to keep the news confidential.
My wife and I did not know what to expect from the show, only that it was a good opportunity to make myself known and to further my filmmaking career.
Richard, tell me more, tell me more. My wife sold my body and soul for a dime or so. How does that song goes?
So yes Richard, what happened to your words that you came into the house to won the $100,000 ? And pleeeezzzze, you and wife did not know what to expect from the show … neva watched a previous BBA show before …. Never? And why did you then phoned Abbey to ask her some questions before you entered the house?
You remembered Abbey Richard? The SA gal who had an affair with Gaetano in the house?
Now, can I ask you again, did you and your wife not know what to expect from the show?

I started to get to know the other housemates better and feel more relaxed. I’m not going to go through all the details of what I went through in the house because it was recorded for all to see. I will say that all in all, the game was extremely emotionally and psychologically challenging and I had to use all of my energy getting through each day in such an unnatural environment.

Richard walked in as a single person. He could not cope for the first two weeks. Then Tatiana befriended him and he won because of RICHIANA.

i have gone through Richards site, all i can say is that it was very bad not to acknowledge Tatiana and what she did for him in the house.
So Richard was playing with Tatian’s emotion and also the intelligency of the public in order for him to win? well Congratulations to him.
But he should try to acknowledge and appreciate people who makes a difference in his life. On this Tatiana issue, he has lost it completely. let him come to nollywood and show the stuff he is made of. one thing i know is that he will cheat on his wife again.

Do you honestly think Tatiana had nothing to do with Richard’s success? Did you watch the show? Everything he did revolved around her. The whole Richiana saga captured the viewers. Whether people supported Richiana or not, it was those two that got people talking.

Well said Vivienne, To blessed saki, that is exactly what we would like to have, are good exchanges. The challenge however is when people fail to honour the truth and treat people with disrespect then we are forced to take a stand against these injustices because the facts are misrepresented. We on this blog believe in the universal values of honesty, love, care, sincerety, respect, integrity, being real and true to yourself, gratitude, loyalty etc. It is really with great sadness and dissappointment that we have seen over these few months how Richard who we held in high esteem has violated these very fundamental principles of life which is the foundation for happiness and success. Yes, he has made his decision in terms of his wife, good for them. The question should be asked, Was the decision based on the universal principles? Just to remind Richard, you said that you have to work things out with your wife because it is the right thing to do. A week before you told the whole world that you fell in love with Tatiana. Where did it dissappear too? If you have ever been in love, we all know that you cannot switch love off like a running tap that is being extremely unrealistic. Therefore many fans are shocked and angry at this dishonesty. Regards his Wife she left for Canada and disclosed that she was going to divorce Richard which is understandable, came back a week before the winner was announced. Called him a Pig when he announced his love for TaTi which is understandable and real. The Question i have for her would she have stayed, had Richard been the Looser. So the Question is asked on what principle did she reconcile with Richard. IS it the MONEY or TRUE LOVE? Where is the honesty here?. They proclaim to be so LOVEY DOVEY which is very good, yet we all know any couple who had experienced what they went through would never be able to be like that so soon, it is unrealistic because they have serious TRUST issues. The contrary is displayed in their actions, the fact that Richard cannot do things and speak on his own, the contradictory statements in the press, failing to have a professional relationship with Tati and Richard working with people that he did not Trust in the house, the treatment of Tati in Nigeria and the excuse for not talking to Tatiana was absolutely unacceptable. Another issue is, the way Richard has not acknowledge his Fans who were loyal to him until the end and even after he left the house, they have pleaded, supported and gave him all sorts of advice because they could see that he was loosing the plot with his actions but whenever his fans spoke with all sincerity and love. Their Truth which was based on what They had witnessed for three months, was always miscontrued as being hateful, resentment towards his wife or marriage. The final straw for his fans is your Web site, we were all looking forward to it. You are once again prooving us to be right about the fact that you are not real or that you cannot speak your TRUTH since you describe your stay in the house without acknowledging Tatiana who had a major contribution to your stay in the house and your success. It is always important to show acknowledgement and gratitude to the people who have contributed to your success, just liked you thank BIggie and the VIEWERS when you did your thanks before the final show. All Great Winners do this since this is usually the foundation for continued success and happiness but Alas Richard you have replaced it with ARROGANCE. Richard you know the Truth and for whatever reason/s you are making a conscious decision to be in DENIAL. Always remember you will reap in life what you sow. There could be many reasons for your behaviour which i have raised on many occassion. Good point that you have and yes. Let me take a person like Kweku-T. He is from a good background, education and all that. Just-ice, super sharp brain and Jeff, the writer.
